PM 1 & PM 1 PRO Series
The PM 1 and PM 1 PRO are single-point/basic functionality dust particulate monitors, employing charge induction sensing for reliable continuous monitoring of dust particulate in stacks, ducts and pipes. Applications include filter leak detection, cyclone overflow and powder flow/no flow.
Principle of Operation
As particles flow near or around the electrically isolated sensing probe, a minute charge is continuously induced into the probe. This charge flows through a measurement circuit to ground. The induced charge signal is digitally analyzed and processed to provide an output that is reasonably linear to mass. The unit of measure is in picoamperes (pA).

PM 1
The PM 1 is the industry’s best value in a basic dust particulate monitors and leak/flow detectors. The engineering and quality greatly exceed comparably priced devices. The PM 1’s low cost justifies monitoring even small nuisance dust collectors.

The PM 1 is also available in a PRO version for demanding process conditions and EPA compliance applications.
